This thread is for random facts about WLO and other things you might not know! If you have more random facts, leave a comment here and I will add them to the last.
Note: When posting facts, try to post USEFUL or at least interesting facts. Not some BS! Thank you~
Did you know...?
1. The faster you click when you walk, the less chance of getting attacked by random mobs.
2. The faster you click while in a vehicle, the less fuel you use.
3. The higher your level, the more chances you have of getting rarer drops from mobs.
4. The Ocean Heart Piece Quest was never fully released.
(10 pieces have been released out of 12, and the Gem Merchant is also unreleased but there is the quest location in Maka Cave, unmarked)
5. If you stay 30 minutes in the hot spring, it will increase your base HP/SP by +10. (You can repeat this for every spa available in game)
6. You can make other players' tents smaller in the Setting, under Character Info.
7. You can copy-paste someone's message in-game by making the chat's BG visible and right clicking their name.
8. You can only a write 152 characters message in the in-game chat.
9. The heart on the Social Icon will start beating faster and faster (if you have your birth date and attraction ON) the closer you are to another player with a compatible sign.
10. You can recycle in your tent certain items to get more useful things. (Ex. Coconut Oil -> Crude Oil, Coconut Pulp -> Cotton THIS IS ALL CHANCE THOUGH)
11. Elin cannot equip any other weapon apart from her gun/chip.
12. You can ruin people's hopes and dreams by setting everything to 1 gold and they won't be able to buy it if you have 99,9m in your inventory.
13. If an event is active in-game, you can teleport to it in the event tab, instead of traveling there yourself.
14. You need to be within a range of 0-99 SPD difference to combo with other pets or characters.
15. It's better to scroll your pet at lvl 20 because the more points a stat has, the higher chances you have to get the next points into that stat.
16. If you are close to die or got in a big boss battle by accidents, just log out to avoid losing EXP. (If you are the team leader and you log off, all the other characters will automatically leave the battle as well)
17. You can use CTRL to move stacks in the inventory or to buy stacks from NPCs.
18. Mobs attacks and skills are chosen randomly in battle (kinda like a roulette). If the mob doesn't have any SP left, he will simply punch or defend.
19. If you PK Niss before you find out who she is (when you first meet her next to the tree) her element will be Fire.
20. Did you know you can auto-run from all battles using an ER? Just double click on the box in E-Remote.
21. On NWLO, you can buy Boarding Vouchers and Registration Vouchers in Hawaii Small Island.
22. You can use healing spells outside of battle (Cure Spell/Recovery/Magic Recovery) on any target that is visible (players/pets).
Highly recommended to do during quests like JS (where you have no opportunity of healing for the next fight).
How to use? Open your skill list -> assist skills -> select desired healing skill -> select the target you want to heal.
An add-on to the random fact is that this also holds true to pets. If you have Niss/Angela/Kanako (can't think of any other healing pets), simply open their skills from the skills tab and select their respective healing skill and select the target you want to heal.
Some general notes: (Mostly for clarity of the fact)
-Skills like Magic Recovery cannot be used on the target's self
-Recovery does not gradually heal the target but instead heals them once
-A message will appear in chat (in red) that you healed XYZ (I think this is true for the receiver too)
-Use of any of the skills depletes the SP that the skill would've used up during battle
-You cannot heal any pets unless they are visible (aka, the player mustn't be in a party). There may be a method, but until now, I'm not aware of it.
-If the pet is the one healing, they don't need to be in battle mode.
Highly recommended to bring with you at least 1 Angela/Kanako and at least 2 Nisses per team to always be able to heal everyone during these difficult fights.
23. You can use a common boat off the side of the cliff from South Island to get to the cave where Clive is. Just drop it in the water from the cliff edge and the boat will be close enough for the player to aboard the boat, and it will have enough life span to carry you to the cave entrance.
24. You can get a shining spar (+22) from a quest in Athens.
25. If your team level is low and you don't combo when you are bursting on beetles, try bursting at jellyfishes (right side of North Island).
26. You can take your tent back from far away by simply right clicking it in your inventory. Also works for vehicles.
27. Did you know mobs are numbered out as:
1 5
2 6
3 7
4 8
so if you hit number 6 for example and it died your character will change it's target and attack the number 1 behind (if alive).
28. You can use CTRL+I to open inventory tab, CTRL+S to open skills tab, CTRL+G to open gold tab, CTRL+M to open quest log .. etc!
29. It takes the Express Pet ~30 seconds to deliver an item.
30. Every time you add 1 point, you get +2 for that specific stat. (Example: If you have 30 ATK and you add 1 point to STR, you will then have 32 ATK)
