Hello, Ehm i Don't know if i post in correct place so am sorry if i mistaken. It's actualy my first post on this forum. Someone know how to calculate % rates of a formula? I know it depend of many things like how many different item you can have with the same formula. It use to exist some guide on old English version wlo forum which indicate % of fail of a formula. I want to know how they calculate that so i could make me a kind of calculator. I was not a bad alchemist i did some pretty cool stuff but i think it could be realy interesting. Thx !

I moved your thread, as it is in the wrong place. Regarding your question. The general consensus is that a +1~2 would be cited at around 90~100%, a +3 would be around 60~75%, a +4 would be around 25~43%. The issue is that there is absolutely no proof, nor any concrete way to calculate it, since the numbers are non constant, there are also many recipes that simply defy this "law". A couple other issues such as, Alchemy level, Bases, seems to affect the number behind it as well. - Recipe A at Alchemy Level 10, might have 95~99%.
- Recipe A at Alchemy Level 30, might now be 50~60%.
Bases like, Flower/Grass/Leather/Pure Iron, has far too much evidence that they simply affect the probability way more then other bases, yet there's no real explanation behind it. As such, I personally find that it's extremely difficult to create a exact calculator, the easiest way would be: - Setting it so that, every recipe that is +2/+3/+4 = the above %
- Variable where, IF Flower/Grass Is Primary/Secondary base, reduce the % by 25~30.
- Variable where, IF Alchemy level above 20, reduce the % of all items below Rank 36 by a flat amount, while increasing +4/+5 rank jumps by a flat amount.
Either way, if you do indeed plan on doing this, good luck.
