{AOTS 2019}
Kimetsu no Yaiba(Demon Slayer), studio ufotable, has one of the most If not the most beautiful art I've ever seen, Ufotable has always been "Unlimited money works", but this time they have officially topped it, every Breath looked astonishingly beautiful to the eye, that you can't help but praise it.
The soundtrack, Is bloody amazing as well, it suits the on-going theme to a tea, while being a bliss to listen, I usually skip anime op's but this one isn't a skip for me ever.
CGI, I am not a fan of CGI, as someone that has watched over the top cgi, from Berserk, Arifureta, Ajin, this is probably the first CGI that i truly felt fitted more then actual key-frames.
Character development, The main character Kamadou Tanjirou, besides improving his skills doesn't really seem to have much else in this department, there are development In certain characters like Kanao Tsuyuri ,Genya Shinazugawa(Next Season you'll see it), to a degree Nezuko, inosuke, and eventually Zenitsu, for this season alone however there wasn't a clear cut development in majority of the characters to be fair.
Pacing, I think the pacing is one of the "bad" part of the anime, this is more so towards the writing then the actual pacing of the anime however, for instance I don't think killing of all but 1 of the lower moons, was the right move as it clearly showed that Tanjirou and friends are about at their peaks when fighting Rui. Instead the training they did into fighting them with more ease would've been a better move.
Additionally, some fights felt dragged out, if the Arc was long it would've been fine but it honestly wasn't.
Obviously the storytelling, Isn't original either there are multiple stories with similar storytelling that has been seen throughout the years, we could pretty much call this a cliche Shounen Story at this point.
Muzan Kibutsuji, alright why does this guy look straight-up like Michael Jackson?
Lastly, I know i praised ufotable already, but the directing in this has to be praised as well, episode 19 is a clear example of it, there wasn't a drop off from EP 1 to EP 26, If anything I would contribute most of the success to Ufotable and the Director, rather then the actual story.
